SerpApi Pricing in 2026: Every Plan, Cost per 1,000, and Cheaper Options
The short answer: SerpApi sells monthly plans from $25 for 1,000 searches ($25 per 1,000) to $3,750 for 1 million ($3.75 per 1,000), with a free plan of 250 searches a month. Only successful searches count, but unused searches do not roll over, and each plan also caps searches per hour. If price is your main concern, prepaid SERP APIs cost much less: PrismCrawl charges $0.30 to $0.15 per 1,000 successful searches with no subscription, so 100,000 searches cost $25 instead of $725.

Cloud plans continue in 1 million search steps up to 54 million searches a month, where the rate is just under $2 per 1,000. The free plan does not include SerpApi's U.S. Legal Shield, ZeroTrace mode, or priority support.
What SerpApi bills for
- Only successful searches count. Cached, errored, and failed searches do not use your plan, and the number of results in a response does not change the cost.
- Unused searches expire monthly. A plan's searches reset each billing month. If your volume varies, you pay for the peak month every month.
- Hourly caps limit speed. The Starter plan allows 200 searches an hour and the Searcher plan 20,000. A job that must finish quickly may need a larger plan than its monthly volume requires. Cloud 1M allows 110,000 searches an hour, about 30 per second.

Is SerpApi worth the price?
SerpApi is one of the longest-running SERP APIs, with official client libraries, broad engine coverage, good documentation, and a U.S. Legal Shield on its Production plan and above. Teams that value those features, or that are already integrated and spend little, may not gain much from switching.
