Our Terms of Service, Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and data-sharing information are collected below. Privacy and cookie notices explain our practices; agreement to the Terms of Service does not grant consent to optional tracking.
Terms of Service
1. Agreement and eligibility
These terms govern PrismCrawl’s website, dashboard, APIs, and related services. “PrismCrawl,” “we,” and “us” mean PrismCrawl LLC.
You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter this agreement. If you act for an organization, you must have authority to bind it. You are responsible for accurate account details, authorized users, securing API credentials, and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized use. We do not require agreement to optional analytics or advertising to use paid or free services.
2. What the service provides
PrismCrawl retrieves and structures third-party search, places, shopping, and other supported data in response to requests. Available fields and results depend on the selected endpoint, request parameters, upstream sources, and current technical conditions. A successful API response is not a guarantee that an underlying statement is true, that results are complete, or that every optional field will be present.
We are an independent service, not an affiliate or agent of the search engines, marketplaces, or other sources whose data is returned. Third-party names and marks belong to their owners. Access through our API does not transfer ownership of third-party content or grant rights that its owners have not granted. We do not provide legal advice, insurance, or a promise to defend or indemnify you against upstream-content claims unless a separate signed agreement expressly says so. This does not remove our own obligations under applicable law.
Unless a separate written agreement expressly provides otherwise, we do not promise an uptime percentage, uninterrupted access, fixed response times, a particular ranking, permanent source availability, or legal suitability for your intended use. Published product descriptions and mandatory statutory guarantees continue to apply.
3. Credits, prices, and payment
Paid plans are one-time purchases of prepaid API credits, not automatically renewing subscriptions. Prices and credits are shown before payment; currency is USD unless checkout states otherwise. Applicable taxes, if any, are displayed at checkout. Our payment provider processes payment information as described in the Privacy Policy.
Paid credits expire 90 days after purchase. Usage rates are shown in the current pricing and endpoint documentation. Different request types or features may consume different credit amounts. A failed request is not charged as a successful request; contact us if you believe a failure was billed. A valid successful response with no matching results is not, by itself, a failed request.
Credits have no cash value except for refunds expressly provided by the Refund Policy or law. They are not transferable without our written agreement. Promotional credits cannot be redeemed for cash. Material changes to purchased credit entitlements will not apply retroactively without your agreement or an appropriate remedy. Changes to future purchase pricing are shown before payment.
The Refund Policy forms part of these terms. Discretionary refunds must be requested within 14 days of purchase and are available only when no more than 20% of that purchase’s paid credits have been used; eligible refunds cover the unused portion only. Above 20% usage, no discretionary refund is promised. Nonwaivable withdrawal, refund, and consumer rights take priority over any conflicting provision. Requesting immediate service does not itself waive all withdrawal rights.
4. Permitted use and customer responsibilities
You may use the service in accordance with these terms, the documentation, and applicable law. You are responsible for assessing whether your collection and use of data, including personal data, is permitted for your purpose and for providing any required notices, permissions, and safeguards.
Do not use the service to obtain credentials or private information without authorization, bypass access controls to nonpublic systems, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, harass or unlawfully surveil people, distribute malware, interfere with service security, evade usage limits, or facilitate unlawful activity. Do not represent our returned data as independently verified by us. Do not rely on it as the sole basis for decisions that could cause personal injury or materially affect someone’s legal, financial, employment, or health interests.
You retain rights in material you submit. You permit us to process requests and associated data only as reasonably needed to provide, secure, support, and administer the service and comply with law, as described in the Privacy Policy and any applicable data processing agreement. This is not a sale of your submitted material to us.
5. Privacy, storage, and customer data
The Privacy Policy explains our processing of personal data. The Cookie Policy explains browser storage and optional measurement. Privacy notices are disclosures, not a request to consent to all processing.
Standard API request-history details are available for up to 90 days, and saved API responses for up to 30 days, subject to the documented product behavior. Zero-trace requests omit request/response archives; they do not eliminate billing, account, security, or legally required records. Keep your own copies of information you need. These service retention periods do not describe the retention of every support, payment, or legal record.
If you require us to process personal data on your behalf under a data processing agreement, contact us before submitting it. Do not submit specially protected or regulated data unless we have expressly agreed to the necessary arrangements. A request for a DPA does not itself establish one.
6. Changes, suspension, and termination
We may maintain or modify the service, including adapting to source changes. Where practicable, we will give reasonable notice of material adverse changes affecting paid use. We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address nonpayment, material misuse, security threats, or legal requirements. Where practicable and appropriate, we will explain the issue and give you an opportunity to resolve it.
You may stop using the service at any time and request account closure by contacting support. There is no recurring subscription to cancel. Closing an account does not automatically create a discretionary refund right or remove records we must retain. Refund and statutory rights remain available. If we permanently discontinue your paid service for reasons other than your material breach, we will refund the unused, unexpired paid balance attributable to that service.
7. Warranties and allocation of risk
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service and third-party data are provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or noninfringement. We do not guarantee upstream data accuracy, completeness, or continued availability. This provision does not override express commitments in an order, our fraud, or mandatory consumer guarantees.
To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable under these terms for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost business opportunities, or loss arising solely from third-party data inaccuracies. Our aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the greater of US $100 and the fees you paid us during the 12 months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim.
These exclusions and cap do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, obligations that law prohibits limiting, or your entitlement to a refund required by law or these terms. Nothing removes either party’s own obligations under applicable privacy law. Some jurisdictions do not permit certain exclusions; those exclusions apply only to the extent allowed there.
For business customers only, you will cover reasonable losses and defense costs from a third-party claim to the extent caused by your unlawful use, submitted material infringing their rights, or material breach of these terms. This does not cover loss caused by our breach or misconduct. We must promptly notify you, permit a reasonable defense, and cooperate. Neither party may settle a claim in a way that imposes obligations on the other without its consent, not unreasonably withheld.
8. Disputes and general provisions
Contact [email protected] so we can try to resolve a concern. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or a class-action waiver. Maryland law governs these terms, without its conflict-of-laws rules. For business customers, disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts with jurisdiction in Baltimore, Maryland, and the parties consent to that jurisdiction. For consumers, this clause does not remove mandatory protections or courts available under the law of their place of residence.
Material term changes will be identified by a new version and prospective effective date, with reasonable notice where required. We will request renewed agreement where needed. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply. A signed agreement expressly addressing the same subject controls over these general terms to the extent of conflict.
Refund Policy
One-time purchases
PrismCrawl sells prepaid API credits. Purchases do not renew automatically. Paid credits expire 90 days after purchase. There is no recurring subscription to cancel.
Refunds for unused paid credits
We offer a 14-day refund window for unused paid credits, provided no more than 20% of that purchase’s paid credits have been used. Exactly 20% usage remains eligible. Once more than 20% has been used, we do not promise a discretionary refund, even if unused credits remain and the request is within 14 days.
For an eligible purchase, the refund is the amount actually paid for the package multiplied by its unused purchased credits divided by its original purchased credits. We determine usage from our purchase and usage records and will explain the calculation on request. For example, if you paid $100 and used 10% of that purchase’s credits, the discretionary refund is $90; at exactly 20% usage, it is $80. At 21% or 80% usage, no discretionary refund is promised. Each purchase is assessed separately, and previous refunds are deducted to prevent double reimbursement.
Used credits, free or promotional credits, purchases exceeding the 20% usage limit, and unused credits requested outside the 14-day window are not eligible under this discretionary refund policy. Used promotional credits are not treated as a cash purchase. Eligible refunded credits are removed from the account so they cannot also be spent. Expiration alone does not entitle a customer to a discretionary refund. These restrictions do not limit the corrections and legal rights below.
Billing errors and service problems
Tell us promptly about duplicate payments, unauthorized charges, missing purchased credits, or failed requests incorrectly charged. We will investigate and correct confirmed errors with restored credits or a monetary refund as appropriate. A response with no matching results or an absent optional field is not automatically a service failure. This does not restrict remedies where the service does not meet its contractual description or mandatory quality guarantees.
If we permanently discontinue your paid service without your material breach, we will refund the unused, unexpired paid balance attributable to that service.
Mandatory rights take priority
Where consumer law gives you a right to withdraw, cancel, obtain a price reduction, or receive a refund, that right applies even if this policy would otherwise exclude a discretionary refund. In particular, qualifying EU/EEA and UK consumers generally have a 14-day withdrawal period for a distance service contract, subject to applicable national rules and exceptions.
At checkout we ask you to request immediate service. If you exercise an applicable withdrawal right after service begins, a proportionate charge for service actually supplied may apply only where legally permitted. We do not treat your checkbox as an automatic loss of all withdrawal rights. Where required disclosures or permissions were missing, the statutory rules prevail, including any extended period or restriction on charges.
How to request help, a refund, or withdrawal
Use our Withdraw from contract form to submit a withdrawal notice online after signing in to the account used for the purchase. The withdrawal sign-in does not require accepting new terms. We use your account email and saved name, asking for your name only if it is missing. Identify the purchase, review your statement, and select Confirm withdrawal. We record the submission date/time and send an acknowledgment containing your notice to your account email. You can also download a copy. No reason for withdrawal is required. If you cannot access your account, you can still send your notice to [email protected]. This acknowledgment confirms receipt, not a final refund calculation.
Email [email protected] from your account email. Include the purchase date, receipt or order reference, and whether you seek a billing correction, discretionary refund, or statutory withdrawal. A reason is helpful for support but is not required to exercise an unconditional statutory withdrawal right. Never send your full card number, password, API key, or one-time code.
For a withdrawal notice, you can say: “I give notice that I withdraw from my contract for PrismCrawl services purchased on [date], order [reference], in the name of [name], account email [email].” A clearly expressed withdrawal notice is sufficient; this wording is optional. Keep a copy of your request.
We aim to acknowledge requests within 3 business days and resolve straightforward requests within 10 business days. Where the law sets a shorter or specific refund deadline, that deadline applies. Approved monetary refunds go to the original payment method unless law permits and we agree otherwise. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to show the refund. We do not require you to accept store credit instead of a monetary refund to which you are entitled.
You may use any other withdrawal method required by applicable law.
Privacy Policy
Who is responsible
PrismCrawl LLC operates this service.
We generally act as controller of account administration, billing, security, support, and website measurement data. For personal data processed solely on a business customer’s instructions, our role and obligations depend on the service and any applicable data processing agreement. Contact us before using the service for processing that requires such an agreement.
Information we process and why
| Information | Purpose | Basis and regional approach |
|---|---|---|

| Purchase amount, plan, credit balance and usage, payment references, billing details | Process payments, allocate credits, correct billing, prevent fraud, keep required records | Agreement; legal obligations; legitimate interests in fraud prevention |
| API parameters, request metadata, returned data, and stored responses where enabled | Fulfill requests, show request history, diagnose problems, and account for usage | Agreement; legitimate interests in operating and securing the service; customer instructions where we act as processor |
| IP address, technical/device information, service logs, and security events | Deliver the site and API, prevent abuse, investigate faults | Legitimate interests in a reliable and secure service; legal obligations where applicable |
| Support correspondence, withdrawal notices, feedback, and account activity | Answer requests, administer the service, improve functionality | Agreement; legitimate interests in support and business administration |
| Optional page visits and information about feature use | Understand website use and improve the product | Consent in opt-in regions; legitimate interests in measurement in the US, subject to opt-out and applicable law |

| Privacy preferences and records of agreement | Respect choices and demonstrate consent or acceptance | Legal obligations; legitimate interests in demonstrating compliance and administering contracts |
Providing account and payment information is necessary for the associated service; without it we may be unable to provide access or complete a purchase. Optional measurement is not required. If you use Google sign-in, Google and our account-authentication provider process authentication information; you may instead request an email sign-in code.
Optional measurement covers public page visits and actions such as signups, purchases, and feature use. Site analytics excludes private-page browsing. We do not deliberately send passwords, API keys, one-time codes, full card details, or API response contents as measurement data. Measurement providers may receive IP addresses, browser information, and references used to distinguish signup or purchase events.
Sharing and providers
We share information with service providers for website and API delivery, account authentication, payments, security, customer communications, account administration, approximate location, and optional measurement. See Data sharing for the categories of recipients, the data involved, and the providers of optional measurement and customer-selected payment and sign-in services. Provider roles differ: payment or sign-in providers may also act as independent controllers for their own services.
Withdrawal notices include your name, confirmation email, purchase reference, notice content, submission time, and handling status. Our email and support providers process these details to acknowledge and handle your request. We also use technical information to prevent fraudulent or abusive requests. These records are retained as needed to handle the request, meet legal duties, and resolve legal claims.
Providers that help us administer accounts and support customers may receive account identifiers, email addresses, IP addresses, and approximate location. When advertising and signup attribution are enabled under your choices or US regional defaults, they may also receive information about the public pages that led to signup. Location service providers receive IP addresses to estimate location for account administration.
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to meet legal obligations, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse, or complete a corporate transaction subject to appropriate protections. We do not offer customer account records or API request contents for sale. Optional advertising disclosures may nevertheless fall within broad statutory definitions of “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising. You can turn them off using Your Privacy Choices; Global Privacy Control also disables advertising and signup attribution in the browser where the signal is received.
Browser choices
Optional analytics and advertising start off outside the United States and when location cannot be reliably determined. For visitors reliably identified as being in the US, these categories start on under our regional opt-out policy. Your saved choices override regional defaults. Google Ads receives your advertising choices; in opt-in regions advertising measurement waits for permission. Personalized advertising is disabled. Site analytics follows the separate analytics choice or applicable regional default. The Cookie Policy identifies the measurement providers and explains these choices.
You can withdraw or change choices at any time. We remember your choices in this browser; they do not automatically apply to other devices or accounts. Turning off a category stops future optional measurement for that category. To request deletion of previously collected information, contact us. See the Cookie Policy for storage durations and when saved choices expire.
We honor Global Privacy Control for advertising and signup attribution. It does not disable necessary login/payment processing or separately enabled site analytics. Ordinary browser “Do Not Track” signals are not treated as an additional consent mechanism.
Retention
We retain information only as reasonably needed for its purpose and applicable legal requirements. In particular:
- Standard API request-history details: up to 90 days; saved API responses: up to 30 days. Zero-trace requests omit request/response archives; necessary billing, security, and audit records can remain.
- Browser storage: privacy preferences, signup attribution, and measurement records follow the durations in the Cookie Policy.
- Privacy-choice records: we aim to retain these for one year. Deletion is not immediate, so actual retention may be longer. These records document your choices, when you made them, and the applicable privacy notice.
- Account, payment, credit-usage, security, agreement, and support records: while needed to provide the account, investigate issues, meet tax/accounting obligations, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. We consider applicable limitation periods, outstanding disputes, and legal retention duties when deciding deletion. Agreement records document who accepted which terms and when.
- Copies held by service providers, including service logs, account communications, and backups, are subject to their applicable retention practices and legal obligations. Clearing browser storage does not by itself erase information already collected.
Contact us for information about retention applicable to your account or request.
International processing and security
Our US business and providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where a restricted international transfer requires safeguards, the appropriate arrangement must be in place, such as an adequacy mechanism or applicable contractual clauses and supplementary measures. The applicable safeguards and our role depend on the particular processing arrangement. Contact us for details of arrangements applicable to your data.
We use technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal information. No service can guarantee absolute security. Do not send secrets in support messages or enter data into a request unless you are authorized to process it.
Your rights and requests
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of personal data; restrict or object to certain processing; withdraw consent; opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising; and limit the use or disclosure of sensitive personal information. Some US state rights depend on whether statutory coverage thresholds apply to the business. We do not use this qualification to override a mandatory right.
To opt out of the website advertising disclosures described above, open Your Privacy Choices, turn off Advertising measurement, and select Save choices, or select Reject optional. This stops optional advertising measurement and signup attribution in this browser, including the disclosures that may qualify as sale or sharing. No account, sign-in, or identity verification is required for this browser choice. Global Privacy Control also opts this browser out. Use the contact below for a request about sensitive personal information, other data, or another device; browser settings do not automatically apply across accounts or devices.
Email [email protected] with the request and your account email, if applicable. We may request proportionate information to verify your identity or an authorized agent’s authority. Do not send a password, API key, or full payment details. We will explain any lawful exception or refusal and respond within applicable legal deadlines. If an appeal right applies, reply with “Privacy appeal” and explain the concern. You may also complain to the relevant supervisory authority or state regulator. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a right.
The service is intended for adults, not children under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us. This service does not intentionally make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about website users; automated security and abuse controls may restrict access and can be raised with support.
Changes
We will identify material policy changes and provide notice as legally required. Changes do not retroactively authorize new optional processing without the required consent.
Cookie and browser-storage policy
This notice covers cookies and similar storage used by visitors’ browsers on the PrismCrawl website and dashboard.
Your choices
Necessary storage supports login, security, payments, and remembering your choices. Outside the United States and when location is unknown, optional site analytics and advertising/signup attribution remain off until you allow them. For visitors reliably identified as being in the US, these categories start on under our regional opt-out policy. Saved choices override those defaults. Rejecting optional uses does not prevent you from signing in, paying, or using the API. No consent is inferred from scrolling, continuing to browse, or closing settings.
Use Your Privacy Choices to accept or reject optional measurement or choose analytics independently of advertising and signup attribution. Global Privacy Control disables advertising and signup attribution. Personalized advertising is disabled even when measurement is allowed. If you block preference storage, we may be unable to remember your choice on another visit.
Browser storage and measurement
| Use | Purpose and category | Duration / behavior |
|---|---|---|
| Privacy preference cookie | Necessary: remember your choices and the applicable policy version | 180 days; expired or outdated choices are not treated as consent, and regional defaults then apply |
| Pending privacy choices | Necessary: reliably record the choices you submit | Removed after confirmation; otherwise expire after 180 days and are cleared on a subsequent visit |
| Sign-in cookies | Necessary: authenticate and maintain a requested signed-in session | Up to 400 days per cookie; may renew while you use the service. Signing out or session expiry can end access earlier |
| Signup browsing session | Optional advertising/signup attribution: remember public entry and previous pages | Browser page session; removed when advertising is denied |
| Signup attribution cookie | Optional advertising/signup attribution: associate entry/prior pages with account activation | Up to 2 hours; removed when advertising is denied |
| Conversion records in browser storage | Optional advertising: prevent repeat signup/purchase measurements | Up to 90 days; expired records are cleaned on a subsequent visit, and records are removed when advertising is denied |
| Google Ads storage, where set | Optional advertising measurement | Names and durations depend on the Google feature and browser settings; see Google's cookie information |
| Vercel Web Analytics | Optional analytics: page visits and product interactions | Enabled only under your analytics choice or the US regional default; see Vercel's privacy information |
| Google sign-in storage | Authentication when you choose Google sign-in | Sign-in starts only after you select Google; Google's storage follows its cookie policy and your browser settings |
| Stripe checkout storage | Payment, fraud prevention, and security when you begin payment | Used during hosted checkout; provider-controlled storage follows Stripe's cookie information |
| Site-security storage, where needed | Necessary: protect access and prevent abuse | Conditional on the security check used; lifetime depends on the check and browser settings |
Cookie lifetimes can be shortened by browser policies, deletion, or logout. Provider-controlled storage may vary with the features used and your browser. Contact [email protected] for details about storage associated with your visit.
Optional measurement providers
Google Ads measures signups and purchases, and Vercel Web Analytics measures page visits and product interactions. These providers can receive technical information, including information sent by your browser, when their measurement is enabled. PrismCrawl also records the public pages leading to a signup when advertising and signup attribution are enabled.
Outside the United States, and when location cannot be reliably determined, optional measurement waits for permission. For visitors reliably identified as being in the US, it may start under our regional opt-out defaults. Saved choices and Global Privacy Control take priority. Google receives the applicable advertising choices, site analytics follows its separate setting, and personalized advertising remains disabled.
These choices apply to website measurement and do not authorize unrelated processing. See Data sharing for recipient categories and provider privacy information.
Changing or withdrawing permission
Use Your Privacy Choices in the footer or above. Turning off optional measurement stops future collection for the selected purpose in this browser and clears related browser storage we control. The page may refresh to apply your choice. Some third-party cookies may remain; you can manage them through browser settings or provider controls. Blocking necessary storage may prevent login or checkout.
Changing a browser choice does not automatically delete previously collected server data. The Privacy Policy explains retention and rights requests. More information: Google’s use of cookies, Google partner-site processing, Vercel Analytics privacy, and Stripe privacy.
Data sharing
We share personal information with the following categories of service providers for the purposes described below. The Privacy Policy explains the legal bases, retention, international processing, and your rights.
| Recipient category | Purpose | Data involved |
|---|---|---|
| Website and API hosting, delivery, and storage providers | Operate the service and maintain permitted records | Service requests, technical information, account and usage records, records of privacy choices and agreements, and stored results where applicable |
| Account authentication providers | Sign users in and secure sessions | Account email, identity/profile information, and session information |
| Security and abuse-prevention providers | Protect access and investigate abuse | IP addresses, device/browser information, and security events |
| Transactional email delivery providers | Deliver account communications and withdrawal acknowledgments | Recipient email, name, message content, and relevant purchase/notice references and timestamps |
| Account administration and customer-support providers | Administer accounts and handle requests | Account identifiers, email, account activity, correspondence, IP address, approximate location, and permitted signup attribution where present |
| Location service providers | Obtain approximate location for account administration | Visitor IP address and approximate location |
| Website analytics and advertising measurement providers | Measure site use, signups, and purchases under the applicable privacy choices | Permitted page/event measurements, conversion references, and technical/browser information |
| Payment and fraud-prevention providers | Process purchases, refunds, and billing records | Payment information, account email/reference, purchase amount, and agreement information |
Optional measurement and services you choose
The following providers receive information when the relevant measurement is enabled or you choose their payment or sign-in service:
| Provider | Purpose and data | More information |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel Web Analytics | Optional page visits and product interactions, with associated technical information | Analytics privacy information |
| Google Ads | Optional signup and purchase conversion measurement, with associated technical information | Google's processing on partner sites |
| Google sign-in | Authentication and profile information when you choose Google sign-in | Google Privacy Policy |
| Stripe | Hosted payment processing and related fraud/billing operations | Stripe Privacy Policy |
You can change optional measurement through Your Privacy Choices. The Cookie Policy explains browser storage, regional defaults, and Global Privacy Control. Payment and sign-in providers may also process information as independent controllers for their own services.
An upstream data source may receive the search terms and request parameters needed to answer a query. Do not submit personal or confidential information unless you are authorized and the necessary processing arrangements are in place.
For recipient details applicable to your data, a data processing agreement, a contractual subprocessor schedule, processing locations, transfer safeguards, or a privacy request, contact [email protected]. We provide further information where required by applicable law or contract. This notice is not itself a data processing agreement or a contractual subprocessor schedule. Customer processing requiring a DPA should not begin before the required agreement is executed.
